This hands-on session introduces how an Activist Approach to teaching engages disengaged youth. This approach combines student-centered pedagogy, issues of embodiment, inquiry-based education centered in action, and listening and responding to youth over time. We will focus on building a classroom environment that facilitates students' interest, motivation, and learning.
