Although motor skill learning is one of the most important outcomes from quality physical education, it is common for “skill practice” to be offered separately from playing a “game.” This active session shares ideas to make developmentally appropriate skill practice into a game.

Do you have full classes with limited time for assessing individual student motor skills? This active session presents whole class strategies to assess student motor skills aligned with the AZ physical education standards using generic levels of skill proficiency as a framework.
